Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Valerii Fedorovych Zaluzhnyi is a Ukrainian general and diplomat who currently serves as the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom. From 2021 to 2024, he was the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a member of the National Security and Defense Council. Prior to this, he held various significant military positions, including Commander of the North Operational Command, Chief of the Joint Operational Staff and Commander of the 51st Guards Mechanized Brigade. In 2022, he was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
