Chairman of SPD, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

Tomio Okamura has led the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) movement since August 2015 and has been a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic since October 2013. From 2017 to 2021, he acted as Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, and in November 2025, he assumed the office of Speaker. Earlier, between 2012 and 2013, he served as a Senator in the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
