Martin Dvořák is a member of the Presidium of the Mayors and Independents (STAN) movement. From 2023 to 2025, he served as Minister for European Affairs, and previously, from 2021 to 2023, he was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. He also served as Mayor of the City of Hradec Králové, first representing the Civic Forum and later the Civic Democratic Alliance.
