Chairman of the KDU-ČSL, Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

Marek Výborný was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2017. During his tenure, he worked as a member of the Constitutional and Legal Committee and as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Executions, Insolvencies and Debt Relief. From 2019 to 2020, he was Chairman of the Christian and Democratic Union – Czechoslovak People’s Party (KDU-ČSL), a position he resumed in October 2024. He previously led the party’s parliamentary group, and from 2021 to 2025, he was Minister of Agriculture.
