Karel Beran

Karel Beran has been a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic since October 2025 and is a independent (non-party) politician of the Motorists for Themselves party, where he serves as an expert on economic diplomacy and foreign trade. In 2025, he was also appointed Vice-chairperson of the Chamber of Deputies’ Committee on Defence. Prior to entering politics, he spent nearly 30 years in the diplomatic service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, including as head of diplomatic missions in Italy, Spain, and countries of Latin America.
