Hynek Kmoníček

Hynek Kmoníček has been the National Security Advisor since January 2026. He previously held ambassadorial posts in Vietnam (2022–2025), the United States (2017–2022), and Australia (2011–2013). From 2013 to 2017, he served as Director of the Foreign Department at the Office of the President of the Czech Republic, and he also held positions as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for Legal and Consular Affairs and Current Political Affairs.
