Adjutant General, senior uniformed National Guard officer

Thomas Suelzer is a Major General and as of 2022 serves as Adjutant General and is senior uniformed National Guard officer. He is also the Governor’s principal adviser on military matters and is responsible for the strategic leadership, training, readiness, operational employment and performance of the Army and Air Force components of the Texas National Guard.
