The 9th national conference Our Security Cannot Be Taken for Granted was held on March 10, 2022 in the Prague Castle Ball Games Hall. On that day, a fortnight also passed since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, and the situation in Ukraine and its effects on Czech internal and external security were reflected in the themes of the conference. Jevhen Perebyjnis, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic, appeared as a special guest. During his speech, he thanked the Czech citizens for the huge wave of solidarity and aid, both military and humanitarian. He called on the Czechs to persevere in aid and an open approach.
We are honored that representatives of the government of the Czech Republic and representatives of political parties represented in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic have accepted the invitation to speak alongside leading experts. In addition to condemning Russian aggression, everyone agreed on the necessary strengthening of Czech national security, whether through international alliances, investments in the armed forces or securing energy resources.
